What a great weekend we had for our little family. This was our first Easter, as well as, General Conference weekend spent with just the 3 of us. Usually we are surrounded by extended family for both occasions. Unfortunately, we were not able to be in the valley of the sun, attending a very lovely wedding with the rest of the family (school is to blame, a midterm and a final). Instead we woke up to several inches of snow Easter Sunday, while the rest of the family had a sunny 8o+ degree day.

Side note: Grandma Chamberlain's General Conference tradition is blueberry muffins. This week I was thumbing through some cook books and found a recipe for homemade blueberry muffins. So I gave it a try. We generally make ours from a box, to save time, since we have lots of people and are making other tasty delights.
I vow that I will never make blueberry muffins out of a box again.
These were just too good!

oh, those muffins have my name on them! I need that recipe. Maybe I'll look into growing blueberries this summer, then we can make some with blueberries from the garden. mmmmmm.
As for the poops, I mean peeps, I admire your creativity, but chocolate covered grossness is still chocolate covered grossness.
Happy Easter!

(I spelled a word wrong, that's why I removed the previous post.). That crumbly topping on the muffins looks so fancy and so delicious! Hope you and you family had a happy Easter!
