to visit Bridal Veil Falls is not before 10 am.
Its FREEZING!
We decided to mix up our morning routine a bit, since the hike to the Y is too hot and our usual route up to the temple, albeit beautiful, can be monotonous everyday, we decided to spice things up on Saturdays.
We decided to do Provo Canyon and see the falls. The first time we did it is was mid morning and there were tons and tons of people. Some of those bikers are dangerous. They just expect you to know they are coming and do not care if you are in your lane. So this week we decided to hit the trail early morning and reward ourselves at the end with the falls. We parked at the falls and ran down the canyon and back to soak our feet in the cold water and let Chamberlain play.
It was a good idea at first there were less people.
Once we finished there was no one at the falls except for some abandon flip flops.
Chamberlain was so excited to play in that water and he did not care how freezing it was.
Boy was it cold. But we made the best of it.
Provo is such a beautiful place in the summer.

I thought u might think it was funny that you were in a dream I had last night-they are very strange when I'm pregnant...so you were trying out for miss Kane county except you were nine months pregnant, and before you did your talent- which was an amazing dance by the way- you let everyone know that u had just seen your dr and he had cleared you to do your dance. You didn't look very pregnant and I was thinking ( in my dream ) how jealous I was that you were so small at 9 months and could dance! Oh and u also had on the most amazing and vibrant costume. I was waiting to see who won the pageant, but I
was inconveniently woken up by my hourly bladder call. Darn! Weird so weird:)
This is just one more thing on the list of thigs I love to do in Utah, but didn't do for some reason. I guess there's always next summer.
The crown is adorable. The slide is a favorite for Olivia too. I didn't know the riverwoods had a splash pad-next summer also.
