at the Clayton Cabin.
I see why Sandi loves it so much.
I find myself thinking of the cabin and the river and I just want to go back.
Last year I took WAY too many pictures, this year I took like next to none.
And the pictures I did take I'm not sure what I was thinking.
However, it was fun to have a sleep over in the ping pong room with Nolan, Oliver, Cooper, Ben, Dave, Siri and Josh. Falling asleep to the sound of the river was quite romantic...if only we didn't have so many people in the room...wink, wink.
Everyone's beds.
Ours is at the very end with the red blanket next to the pack n play.
Doesn't that have romantic written all over it.
The view is amazing.
Did I mention those are just screens not actual windows.
You can see the river which was raging. Its usally like 4 inches deep.
This year you could get swept away.
And the for my final picture, I took of this chair which I love.
Its old and sturdy and has character, and looks like its been painted a million colors. If only Siri would turn around and flash that smile.
It was nice just to relax and play what we call Cowboy Golf, but if you ask Nolan it makes more sense to call it Ladder Ball, and if you are talking to Dave...well we won't mention what he calls this game.
Grandam Clayton's Chocolate Chip cookies were highly sought after, we also had the tasty smores and I loved hearing all the siblings reminiscing of the past. It was the first time the Ken and Sandi Burgess family has been together in 6 years. Yep, since Josh and I tied the knot. It was about time. I loved getting to know the east coast Burgess's. What a treat to have them here for 2 weeks.
We cant wait to venture out to State College.
Ps. If anyone wants to share their photos from the week that would be much appreciated. Im sad I dont have any of the family.
Thanks Ash

Summertime is the best! Seriously, these pictures scream it. I LOVE the picture of Siri seeing the fireworks. Classic.
