Baby Burgess # 3 is arriving this June.
We found out on Tuesday that we are having another boy!
Chamberlain predicted a girl, he was so sure we were having a girl that when we came through the door with our blue balloons, blue Gatorade and blue succors he exclaimed "but mom I wanted a girl!'
Then he quickly went back to his wii game and has been pretty happy that we are having another baby in the summer.
Tanner stayed the night so he would be sure to be up by 9 am to watch the kids while Josh and I went to our appointment. His only request, that he be the first one to know what we are having and we obliged.
Tuesday was a good day, Ken and Sandi flew in to visit Chris, Lesa and the girls before their next adventure. I thought I would be a little creative and make some sugar cookies to introduce the gender of baby #3, for our after dinner sweet. (This is not like me for babies 1 and 2 we just called our parents and told them) While Josh was at work Chamberlain and I were busy frosting the afternoon away. He decided that I would frost and he would sprinkle.
I had Josh grab a plain brown doughnut box on the way home from work. I was able to get about 21 cookies in the box. I wrapped them in Turquoise tissue paper and closed the lid.
Of course I never thought to take a picture.
Around 8 pm is the time everyone was searching for something sweet and of course the moment I slip out to grab something out of the car Josh (on his behalf he didnt know I had slipped out) presented the cookies to Sandi and Ken. Who had no idea we were even expecting baby #3. I could hear Sandi cheering loudly while I was outside.
I'm glad we surprised them in a fun way,
I think everyone enjoyed the cookies.
