a poem and some pictures

I was looking through my pictures and found this one of our dear friend and Chamberlain taken the week that they moved to paradise.
This photo reminds me of a poem I learned in middle school.
It goes like this.

One bright day in the dead of night
two dead boys got up to fight
back to back they faced each other
drew their swords and shot each other
deaf policeman heard this noise
came to shoot those two dead boys
if you don't believe this lie is true
ask the blind man he saw it too

Not that these boys would do such a thing to each other but it just reminds me of the silly poem that has stuck with me all these years.
We took this picture to document how much they will grow while they are away.

We also took this picture to see how much these girlies will grow.
They are only a few days apart and so far they are pretty close in weight, size, and volume-ous hair.
Friends.
I threw this one in just because I liked it.
Funny kids, funny, funny, kids.
Can't wait till spring!
