costume day

2nd day of school + wear your Halloween Costume = Awesome. 

We have it on good word that Ironhide's best friend is a soldier so that's what Chamberlain went with.

Face paint and all. 

I think what I like most of his get-up is the utility belt slung across his body. It was my Grandpa Garths from when he was in the war. My mom found it in the Garage during THE yard sale. 

We found some old glass pill bottles, with random vials, a worn out pencil and a small folded up piece of paper which I was hoping contained a love note to my grandma Laura but no such luck, in some of the pockets.

The utitlity belt is very warn and has a musty smell to it but Chamberlain LOVES it.

As soon as we put the face paint on this morning his entire demeanor changed to a very serious Chamberlain.

He wore his soldier costume the rest of the day Costco and all.

He loved it so much that during Siri's nap he wanted to play hide-n-seek camouflage style and I brought along the camera.
