snow and a fat lip.

We pulled out pants, jackets, long sleeves and anything for Chamberlain that would fit from last year and I eventually had to turn the heater on, first time this fall.
It was a nice 65 degrees in the house when we woke this morning and only warmed up to 66 around 1:30 pm.
And when the clouds cleared we saw that icky white stuff.
I wish we could have lounged around all day in our PJ's, play games and bake cookies again, but alas we had things we needed to do.

I went to the dermatologist today to have a look at my lip and 30 minutes later I came out with a fat lip and 7 stitches.  Nothing serious just a festering cyst that I could not get rid of all summer long.
So for the next 11 days I will have these long strings in my mouth that when I eat feels like spider legs or hair... take your pick.

All evening Chamberlain has been reminding me about the "rip in my lip." Awesome.
Oh and Siri has the most darling shoes on. She loves them. They are leopard flats and she wore them all afternoon, even when I tried to take them off, she refused so she wore them till we went to bed.

And did I mention my lip is sore. Like so sore I can feel my heart beat in my lip.
Double awesome.

Happy Birthday Grandma Johnson.
We love you.

Ouch. Moms aren't allowed to get hurt, or rips in our anything. I'm impressed that you got that taken care of.
The shoe thing is so cute... I need a closer look at these though. Shoes can make any cold day warmer :)
