Chamberlain,
You were so excited to wear your costume to school today.
You asked me if I would paint the Batman Symbol on your face since you were not allowed to wear your actual mask in school just only during the parade.
I like your thinking.
You got up extra early so we would have enough time to paint your mask.
You would not eat your breakfast because you did NOT want to be late.
Dad took you to school so I could stay home and get the other two children ready for your parade.
Dad told me that when you two pulled up to the school your nerves started to kick in because you did not see any other children wearing their costumes. However, that quickly changed when you pulled up to the Kindergarten section and everyone was wearing a costume.
For the parade you walked around the track and then walked around the school.
You got to see your friends Cameron and Regan Jeppsen which made you so happy.
I asked you while marching to march in place so I could take a picture and of course you said no.
You always follow the rules and Mrs. Brunstad said no stopping that you were to keep marching.
So of course you never stopped marching.
Chamberlain,
Thank you for making my first Kindergarten parade as a parent a pleasant one.
I enjoyed watching you strut your stuff around the track.
My favortie part was a tie between your constant huge smile, and when you kept lifting up your mask to show me that you still had on your face paint.
I love watching you grow and love seeing you in your school environment.
I love you and am proud of you.
Love,
Mom
Miss Siri waiting for the parade to start in her cool shades.
Here you are showing me your face paint underneath your mask.
Dad Siri and Harrison waiting for you on the other side.
Here you are showing me your face paint for the 2nd time.
This is when I asked you to march in place so I could snap a picture. And this is your body expression saying Mom I follow the rules!
And this is Siri wondering what just happened.
