Shelbies shower

Over the weekend my Mom, Harrison, Sage and myself made a trip up north to Shelbie's house for her baby shower.

I only took a few pictures of the dessert table and the lady of the hour herself. 

But I wanted to remember how refreshing it was to be with my sisters and mom for a weekend. 

I love that Shelbie lives only 3.5 hours from my house. I'm excited she is having a girl. I miss living down the hill. I am starting to realize that those moments (they were really just moments) that we lived so close to each other may never come again or we may be really old. 

I love that Shelbie is a planner and is a perfectionist. I love that Shelbie knows what she wants and goes for it.

I love that Shelbie is my younger sister but people that we meet together think she is the older one!

I love that all of our kids are the same age. I love that we call each other every day and sometimes multiple times a day and still have things to say and talk about.

I love that Shelbie is one of my best girlfriends in the whole entire world. 

Thank You wonderful Claybaugh women for hosting such a lovely party and making such delicious and beautiful looking desserts. 

A side note about the shower. Mom in her decor cleverness brought up your baby dress that Aunt Siri gave to you and we used it as center piece. She also brought up all of Grandma Laura's pink depression glass collection that she gave to you, and we used it for the dessert table. 

Mom also made the cutest paper banners to use and hang in baby girls room.

What a great weekend and I am excited for more all girl weekends in the future.
