ice chunks

We took a drive today in between Josh's classes.
We heard about the ice piles around Utah Lake and thought we should see the beauty for ourselves.
Neat.
For a brief moment it felt like we were some other place than Provo.
As if we were in Alaska seeing and hearing the ice creeking together and then rise out of the water onto the piles and piles of ice chunks.
It was neat to tromp around in the mud and find fish bones.
I think if you live near by you should check it out.
We hear its never had this much ice.
Here are some of my favorite shots of the day.
I spy Fish bones.
Chamberlain was nervous standing on this rock he kept looking back at the ice like it was going to attack him.
 Thick ice.

 He saw a plane.
 Winter Beauty.

No, Josh is not throwing Chamberlain in. He is lifting him over to the rock just below him.
I loved the reflection in the water.
