Son.
I can't believe you are 5.
How lucky are we to have had you for 5 whole years in our family.
You continue to amaze us with the things you do and say.
You are so sweet, thoughtful, and are constantly thinking of others.
Like the other day on our trip back from AZ.
On your own you noticed an elderly lady needing help in lifting a sign and without hesitation you stepped right in and helped her hold the sign.
The smile you had on your face when you were done was priceless.
You are kind, smart, funny, handsome, I can always find you with a smile on your face, you are excited about life, you are the best big brother any little sister could ask for.
You are always helping Siri and you make her laugh and smile the most.
We love you.
Your 5th Birthday went a little something like this.
We surprised you with breakfast in bed and you opted to eat it at the table.
We opened presents shortly after so Dad could be apart of it since he had school (which he ended up missing just for you) and work (which he went in as late as possible to spend as much time as he could with you).
You and Dad went to lunch at your favorite place...Subway.
Then we played and played and invited Sage, True, Tanner, Whitney and the boys over for your 3rd cake and ice cream party.
And your 5th Birthday ended late into the evening after everyone had gone home and I could finally pull you away from the game that Tanner and Sage got for you.
You lucky little boy.
We love you.
Your gift from Siri was a hit. How did she know you wanted a Mario Tee!
You were so excited to open the presents from Grandma and Grandpa Burgess.
You wanted a Pogo Stick so badly.
When we would ask you what you wanted you would immediately respond with a pogo stick first.
This was the 3rd blowing out of the candles you did for your birthday week.
This cake was sprinkle cake with your favorite blue frosting.
Cake and Ice Cream party #1 Dinosaur Costco Cake.
Held at Aunt Suzie and Uncle Glens house in Arizona with Great Grandma and Grandpa Johnson, Tim and Shelbie and the Boys and oh yes Uncle Mike.
Cake party #2 Chocolate Coconut Cake
Held at Grandma and Grandpa Chamberlains house in Kanab.
At half time of the BYU/Utah game (which was a slaughter for the cougs. sad day) with Mayor and Grandpa Laycook, Siri Dad and me.

You and Josh are such amazing parents. Such a fun family... we miss you badly.
So sad to hear about Siri. Do you know how it happened? Poor little one. I hope she doesn't mind the cast too much. Keep us updated.
