flamingos a camel and more

We finally made it to the PHX Zoo.

I haven't been there since I was about 7.

It such a great zoo.  

I loved that we were walking in plants and dirt paths rather than cement walkways or paved trails. I loved how open the zoo felt. Animals there are not in your typical cages, they are in more open preserves. 

We spent the entire day there and still didnt see every exhibit. 

Chamberlain is such a map lover.

 He loves to look at maps and collect maps. He had his very own map of the zoo and was trying to navigate us to the Flamingos. 

Flamingos were his favorite animal at the zoo.

Flamingos, of all the animals, he loved the flamingos.

He also got to ride on a camel.  

He was so excited, Hudson not so much. 

Siri was upset that she could not ride and Lex did.

You have to be exactly 2 and older to ride the camels. 

Siri I think loved the petting zoo.

Hudson loved the komodo dragons.

And at the end of the day as usual my parents suprised the kids with their very own animal mask.

We had such a lovely day being outside in good weather and great company.
