we're moving

Our house is boxed up and we are ready to start our new adventure in Southern Utah.
This is my last post from life on 700.

Josh was offered a job at GSK as a pharmaceutical sales rep and he starts in a few short days. This is something he has wanted to do for the past couple of years. This is an amazing job opportunity and we jumped at the chance.  We feel so blessed to be able to do this and live in St. George. This has all happened so fast. We literally found out less than 3 weeks ago while on vacation in Arizona that he got the job and its been a whirlwind of a month ever since.
Well, I guess I should be honest with myself, we are moving to Hurricane.  Turns out as much as I want to live in St. George, Hurricane seems to be the place that fits us best at the moment.  If you would have told me when I was in high school that someday I would be living in Hurricane... I would have thought you were crazy.  Like most cities Hurricane has changed so much and the area that we are living in is quite beautiful and I can hardly wait to pack up the truck tomorrow so I can unpack it the next day to start our new adventure as Southern Utahan's.
I think the best part is going to be that we are only 40 minutes from my parents and only 5 hours to my in-laws. Which hopefully means we will be having much more Grandparent time.

Our plan was to retire in St. George for all the golfing, hiking, and relaxing time we could want but turns out we will be moving there much sooner than we ever thought.

It is hard to be leaving Utah County after 13 years.
I love it here.
I love living so close to BYU. I love the cute yellow house with blue shutters we live in. I love being so close to my cousins for play dates and park time and girl chat.  I love the friends we have made. I love living down the street from the Creamery. I love the wards that we have lived in. I love my Beehives and the all the Young Women in my ward  I will miss knowing what going on in their lives. I love going up Provo Canyon all summer long for walks, BBQ's and more. I have loved living under the Y on the mountain.
I have enjoyed every minute of life here along with all the friends I have made.
Provo is such a special unique place.

I'm really going to miss all the crazy variety of flowers that many previous renters have planted before me.
These beauties popped up today I'm sure to bid me farewell.
I mean I am moving to the desert, desert where flowers like these are few and far between.

That's so exciting!!! I'm jealous-we want to end up there as well. Someday!! I'm also jealous that you live in the same town as my Grandma Polly! She still lives in the house on the hill:)
