Independence Day still remains my all time favorite holiday. 

I love it. 

There is something about this day that I look forward to all year long. 

And this year didn't disappoint even with a new baby not quite a week old we were still able to celebrate in style. 

I was able to make it to the parade and the park and enjoyed every minute.

Even with the cancellation of fireworks due to all the fires we still had a fabulous time. 
The city invited some Hawaiian fire-dancers which Siri LOVED. I learned that as soon as she is old enough we will be putting her in lessons. 
What a great day to spend as and with my family.
