Harrison Joshua

I can't believe its been two weeks since our Harrison arrived.
Its gone by so fast and he has grown so much.
We are completely smitten at our house, each and everyone of us.
During these two weeks we celebrated our nation's Independence day and we have had Aunts and Uncles, cousins and friends stop by along with the great Grandparents and great Aunts and Uncles. Harrison has had lots of love'n and has pretty much been held 2 weeks straight.

A few things I would like to remember.

In the first few hours Harrison reminded Joshua and I of both Siri and Chamberlain when they were born.  We could see them both in him and it brought back floods of memories when they were born. Birth is such a joyous experience.

When Harrison came out Dr. Lunt was demanding we take a picture of him because his hands were in prayer form.   In all the babies that he has delivered he has never delivered a praying baby.
To this day Harrison's hands are often in praying form or crossed close to his face. I try my best to take pictures of him when he is doing this so I always remember.

Chamberlain was crushed when he came to the hospital to see you and we told him what we named you...Harrison Joshua. He wanted you to be called Boston. Which we like we just couldn't find a family connection to Boston.  He insisted on still calling you Boston but has now started calling you Harry.
Siri on the other hand was smitten when she walked into the room and saw a new baby on my lap. She wanted on the bed and just stared and stared at you never taking her eyes off of you for pictures.

The delivery nurses Sherie and Tonya (who happens to be in our new ward) were both off at 6am but stayed extra to deliver you since we had made such a great connection during the 5 hours of labor.  I think at one time there was about 6 nurses in the room when you were born plus Dr. Lunt. All of them commented on your amazing skin color and I attributed it to all the avocados I ate.
You scored perfect on your APGar tests.

Here are a few pictures of our new babe.
 Our family of five.

We love our dark haired boy.
